On the basis of our experience in practice and research since many years we are a competent consultant. We are specialized in consultancy on:
- Application of deburring technologies - not HSD only,
- Burr minimization by means of construction,
- Burr minimization by means of production.

| Research and development |
Beier-Entgrattechnik is a member of the industrial research group 'Burr minimization' founded in 1999 by the automotive industry. In the focal point of interest are not only questions of deburring but the more methods of burr minimization and quality controlling for practice with a high cost-benefit-ratio. These are for instance:
- Automatized edge and chamfer exmanination and measurement (www.balluff.de)
- Prediction and mechanism of burr formation - Models for a practical use during planning and production
- Standardization and description of the quality of edges for production
Beier-Entgrattechnik is realizing and supporting several practical/experimental studies in cooperation with universities,
higher technical colleges and manufacturers. The results are used e.g. for the development of a model for burr prediction under practical conditions.
The results are published at conferences and in technical journals.
